Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Welcome to the DomainCatch.in Domain Backorder FAQ — your complete guide to securing expiring .IN domains before anyone else. Our domain backorder service monitors the domain you want and attempts instant registration the moment it drops. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned domain investor, this FAQ will answer your most common questions about auctions, payments, Dynadot transfers, refunds, and our capture process.

1. What is a domain backorder?

A domain backorder is a service that allows you to try to secure a domain name the moment it becomes available for registration after its current owner fails to renew it.

2. How does DomainCatch.in backorder work?

  • You enter the exact domain name you want to backorder.
  • You pay $10 via PayPal at the time of placing your order.
  • We monitor the domain and attempt to register it the moment it’s released.
  • If we successfully capture the domain, we transfer it to your Dynadot account within 1–2 days.

3. How can I check the drop date of a domain?

We recommend using ExpiredDomains.net to find estimated drop dates. You can also place a backorder without knowing the drop date — we’ll still monitor it for you.

4. Can I backorder multiple domains at once?

Yes, but each backorder must be placed separately with its own $10 PayPal payment.

5. What if multiple people backorder the same domain?

If more than one user places a backorder for the same domain, it will go to auction via our WooCommerce Auctions system. The highest bidder wins the domain, which is then pushed to their Dynadot account within 1–2 days.

6. What happens if you fail to catch my domain?

If our system fails to capture your domain, the $10 you paid will be credited to your DomainCatch.in wallet for future use.
(See our Refund Policy for full details.)

7. Can I cancel my backorder?

No. Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. Please double-check the spelling of the domain before placing an order.

8. Do you catch all domain extensions?

Currently, we only catch .in domains. We do not support .co.in or other extensions.

9. Do I need a Dynadot account?

Yes. All successfully captured domains are pushed to your Dynadot account. If you don’t have one, you can create it for free at Dynadot.com.

10. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal payments in USD.

11. Is the $10 price only for the backorder?

No — the $10 includes the domain registration fee for one year from the capture date.

12. Is my personal information safe?

Yes. We store your details securely in our WordPress/WooCommerce system and only share them if legally required by the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI / Registry.in).
Read our full Privacy Policy for more details.

13. When should I place a backorder?

We recommend placing your backorder as early as possible — ideally at least one week before the drop date — to maximize your chances.
